Welcome to the New Website Format 

TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT. OKTOBERFEST 2009

Table/tickets will be sold to our members immediately after tonight’s meeting. VP Horst and Treasurer Eleanore will assist you with your selections. Tickets are $8 per person and can be purchased with cash or a check made payable to the German American Social Club.  After tonight tables/tickets will be offered for sale to the Ocala Club and the Spring Hill Club. VP Horst will then contact other German American Clubs and finally tickets will be offered to the general public. Don’t Get Left Out …..Purchase your tickets now.

In the event you did not know, the profits from OKTOBERFEST fund our monthly meeting treats. In addition, the bus to German Heritage Day was paid for by your Club. We need a very successful OKTOBERFEST this year since we did not participate in the International Festival in the Park in February.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our April hosts:  Martin & Eva, Guenther & Irene, Karl-Heinz & Edith and Ellie. I hope you all enjoyed your treats. The hosts scheduled for tonight’s Pizza & Beer are:  Walter & Peggy Wolf, Dieter & Rosemarie Cinch, Paul & Carol Katsiru bas and Dean & Anita Dolbeck.

While you enjoy your pizza & beer officers and directors will be circulating in the hall to sign up VOLUNTEERS to WORK at OKTOBERFEST. Volunteering for your club is an important part of being a member. Your help is greatly appreciated
